Since the manga ended without a satisfying punchline, I was planning to write a whole page of excuses in the form of an afterword, but as usual, I ended up not having time to write afterwords, so for now I'd just like to explain, sorry...
In this work, from Renko's perspective, when Renko disappears while Merry is explaining, Merry was actually approaching her own moment of death, and it seems that Renko knows this and accepts Merry's explanation. There are no actual death scenes, so I'm really debating whether I should add a "warning: death content" warning. This one develops a heavy theme, even among the dark Hifuu series stories I've been arbitrarily lining up, and I'd been thinking about it for a long time, not knowing what to do with it, but with the new work featuring things like lifespan control, and the foreign objects, and the situation and information, it became easier to think about it, and I was able to get to publishing it.However, there are many parts that I haven't explored or explained, and I feel sorry for being so self-indulgent. While I dream of doing another one that follows on from this one or one that involves death if I could, I haven't numbered it yet because the "Our battle continues" ending is the best, and I have no idea if I'll actually release one. However, if there are people who are interested in a sequel and if one does come out, I'd be happy if you'd continue reading. (I have no confidence in doing a sequel)
I'd like to see RenMerry acting normally and cheerfully, and I'd like to continue the First Chairman theme. I'm not sure if something like that will come out, but if it does, I'd appreciate your help. It's a busy morning. I want to finish it in time.
My dream right now is to write the afterword for my next work ahead of time. Bye!I want to try a new type of sake... Oimoto Jiro
