暫くして、僕らは少し冷めてしまったご飯を食べた。

食事中、最初は妖夢さんもしゃべり辛そうだったし、また僕も、何を話そうか、迷ってしまったけど、布都ちゃんが、妖夢さんに僕の事や、妖夢さん自身の事を色々と聞いて話題を作ってくれた。妖夢さんの僕の事を話す内容からして、本気で僕の事を幻滅している様では無かった様だった。僕は、一人友人を失った訳ではないと安心したと共に、何故、温厚な彼女が刀まで出して、あんな見た事もない激昂の仕方をしたのか？。彼女なら何か許せない事があっても、まずは口で説くのが先だろう。それをした、いや、それを僕がさせてしまったのだろうか・・・？夕飯も済んだ所で、風呂を炊く事にした。僕は、妖夢さんに風呂を勧めた。勧めた所で、突然妖夢さんを泊まらせたので、妖夢さんが代えの衣服がある訳ないと思うと「あの・・・持って来ていますから・・・」と手持ちの袋(夕方、僕が持たなかった方)の中から寝巻きを取り出した。用意がいいねと僕が感心すると、「あ・・はははは」と妖夢さんは照れた様に微笑んだ。最初から、泊まるつもりだったんだ・・・別に妖夢さんならいいのだけど。「なぁ、「」殿」と妖夢さんが風呂場に居る時、布都ちゃんが僕に話しかけた。「先に、妖夢殿が怒った訳だが、多分我のせいと思う。我だって、長年共にしていた者が、突然やって来た者と仲良くなって我をほったらかしにした時、その時はとても気に入らないものだった。」と言い、「妖夢殿だって、妖夢殿も、お主をとても好きだと思う。刀を向けるぐらいに」と言って「実はな、我も「」殿が妖夢殿と我の分からない事を話している時は少し寂しく感じた。だから、妖夢殿の気持ちも・・・な。」とどこか寂しそうに布都ちゃんは言い閉めた。僕はそれを聞いて、何か答えようとしたけど、考えが纏まらず、「布都ちゃんのせいじゃないさ」と言って布都ちゃんの頭を撫でる事しかできなかった。妖夢さんが風呂場から上がる時には、寝床の準備をしていた。「妖夢殿ー、今日は我達と、一緒に寝ようぞ。」と布都ちゃんは言う。それを聞いて、妖夢さんは「えっ・・・」と顔を赤らめた。それはそうだ。彼女だって、友人とはいえ異性と寝床を共にするのは常識ではない。「妖夢殿は「」殿と友人であろう？我だって、妖夢殿と一緒に寝たいぞ？」とh布都ちゃんがにやけて言うと、「そ、そうですね・・・私と「」さんは友人ですから・・・」と妖夢さんは顔を赤らめて答えてわっふるわっふる

Ha, I actually looked his stuff up a bit and hands aren't really his strong point but THIS is truly one of the worst examples. Oh well, I'm just happy that Youmu is happy...yet.

A while later, we began eating our somewhat cold food.

At first, it seemed rather difficult for Youmu to say anything, and I couldn't think of anything to say either, but Futo-chan began asking Youmu various things about herself and me. Judging by the way she talked about me, it seems she really didn't hold anything against me. While I was glad I hadn't lost a friend, I still wondered why such an otherwise gentle girl had become enraged enough to draw a knife. If she found something detestable, she would surely at least say something about it first; that's the kind of person she is. Did I do... or allow that to happen to her?

With dinner finished, I began to run a bath. I told Youmu to help herself to a bath before remembering that because I asked her out of nowhere to stay, she wouldn't have a change of clothes. "Um... I brought some..." she said, pulling some pajamas out of her bag (the one I didn't carry). I told her I was impressed by her preparedness, to which she let out an embarrassed "ah...haha" and smiled. So she planned to sleep over from the beginning... well, I don't really mind if it's Youmu.

"My lord..." Futo-chan called me as Youmu was in the bathroom. "I believe Lady Youmu's anger earlier was my fault. I myself have experienced a person I was long close to suddenly becoming friendly with a new person and neglecting me. I did not like it at all," she explained. "I believe Lady Youmu truly likes you as well... enough to brandish a blade. To tell you the truth, when you and Lady Youmu speak of things I do not know about, it makes me feel lonely. I am sure Lady Youmu also feels..." she trailed off with a hint of sadness. I tried thinking of an answer to what she said, but unable to settle my thoughts I could only pet her head and tell her, "It's not your fault." By the time Youmu got out of the bath, the bed was ready. "Lady Youmu, you should sleep with us tonight," Futo-chan invited. "Eh...?" Youmu uttered with a deep blush. That's right... to her, even if it's between friends, sharing a bed with the opposite sex is completely abnormal. "You are a friend of my lord, are you not? I myself also want to sleep with you," she grinned. "Y-yes, that's right... we are friends, after all..." Youmu replied with an unchangingly red face... to be continued

dude, you might be onto something. I can see Youmu making advances on faceless protagonist, only for Futo to step in the way, and taunt Youmu, telling Youmu that he's hers. It's a common plot twist, but it's hard to see coming.
