Well if Meiling is a Red Dragon. Fire wouldn't mean anything.....though I am putting DnD logic to this and really...Touhou at times is completely illogical...so...uhm...DIBS ON THE DARK MEAT!

except not all red dragons are immune to fire, they simply breath it. And dragons, can tolerate high temperatures, thus why simple fire does nothing. Dragon fire has the temperature to immediately melt most metals, which they are still susceptible to. In the end she's not in her dragon form (not even canonically confirmed anyways) and thus not having the body that is naturally resistant. /rant

Bringing Western mythology to account for Meiling (who would presumably follow Chinese/Eastern mythology) isn't a good idea.

Dragons in China, at least, are water deities.

He was talking about dungeons and dragons. I was correcting him about THAT, which is why i said "(not even canon confirmed anyways)". I was speaking STRICTLY hypothetically
