I do love how despite there being monsters running around (some of which could actually kill you if you're not careful) the humans lock in when they really want something from said monsters.

So centaurs in this universe cannot wipe their butts like humans do. I wonder what do they use instead - hygienic shower? Sponge on a stick, like ancient Romans? Dedicated small gargoyle on the bathroom wall?

Probably scratchers similar to what lot of farmers buy/make for their cows. Might even be variation where it isn't just scratching, but also cloth-like posts.
