@rkgk what version was this transcoded from? I don't have premium so I can only access some AV1 version that yt-dlp gives me. AV1 is supported though so in that case it should be uploaded directly so we have the original. (Note: we'll get video samples one day, surely.......)

It was transcoded from the AVC stream.

These were the additional formats yt-dlp gave me:

30112  mp4 1920x1080 30 │ ≈107.48 MiB 7513k │ avc1.640033   video only  
30102  mp4 1920x1080 30 │ ≈ 52.11 MiB 3643k │ hev1.1.6.L150 video only  
100027 mp4 1920x1080 30 │ ≈ 52.19 MiB 3648k │ av01.0.00M.10 video only

The AV1 version has a much lower bitrate, so I wasn’t sure whether it would actually be the better choice to upload.

I see, thanks for confirming. AV1 and HEVC are generally massively better (the target is ~50% better than H.264/AVC at ~50% filesize), and comparing asset #43249195 (AVC) to asset #43249194 (AV1) I do see significantly less blocking, so I will request a replacement for asset #43225243

Edit: Unless you can get the even larger 100027 format, since my yt-dlp doesn't offer this as an option.
