In February my grandma unexpectedly passed away, and I found myself struggling to get through the day, and see anything as positive. The shock hit me and my family hard, and I started on this piece as a way to cope with my grief. I wanted to look at something happy and sweet, and I love Raphtalia from The Rising of The Shield Hero, so my hand just started sketching. This is the end result and I am very happy about it.
