I'm not sure what to think about this.

I'm pretty sure Forgotten Realms dark elves are essentially extinct because they were turned into drow, and those are grey.
Shadowheart here is apparently half human and half "high elf", and while the history and genealogy is a bit complicated that seems to mean either moon elf or sun elf, either of which is explicitly separate from the old dark elves. She apparently worships Shar (like a certain playable Drow in the real BG games), Mistress of the Night and the Lady of Loss, so that sounds like she's more likely to be half moon elf, which is at least not the exact race of elf that drove the dark elves to corruption.
Anyway, she's definitely a very long way from being an actual dark elf. Anyone who's played the game or otherwise know more, please correct anything I'm getting wrong here.
