If I remembered correctly, there was something like a meme with Japanese comedian doing this pose but with prosthetic ear that's comically large. It's quite old, and has been referenced multiple times on even old mangas like Yaiba, but I don't think that's what happening given the mic and the logo. Might be something a politician does recently?
