To recall one, it was one of the Seven Wonders of Honjo...
Moreover, there are many stories of strange fires all over the world.
Which is why I thought creating a boundary would make it easier for such strange phenomena to occur.
Come to think of it, there are many stories of strange fires in Japan too.
You know those well, don't you, Merry?
Like the story of "the lamp-less soba stall", also known as "the everlasting lantern". It goes that the stall proprietor never showed himself, and the shop’s lantern stayed dark- yet anyone who lit it was later struck by misfortune. In other tellings, the oil never ran out, and the lantern burned all night.
    Akarinashi soba
"Lamp-less" and "Everlasting"... They both sound related to lights, but are they polar opposites? Judging from their titles...
There is a soba stall in a certain place, but whenever one goes there, there is no one around and the lights are off.
The inverse is also true for the everlasting lantern story. Whenever you go there, there's no one but you, but the lights are always on.
Wow... that doesn't sound like a scary ghost story.
