I'm pretty sure she was Umamusume-fied as early as she was because her desmitis was so bad that even Normandy thought she'd be retired by the time her cameo rolled out... And possibly because the devs weren't counting on Almond Eye (and presumably Contrail) to give their blessing at that point, which would've alleviated them from picking up on the 2020 Japan Cup (spoiler alert: they now have to)
