Animation is something I've only very lightly dabbled around in but this here was my first proper attempt at animating something from start to finish and fully in color. I thought making a small simple animated loop would be a nice approachable way for me to make something without getting easily overwhelmed but wow, I did not realize just how much work an animation with only approx 9 unique frames could be! Any of you artists out there that are frequently making animations are absolute machines at this as far as I'm concerned. There's so much skill and effort that goes into making an image move.

While it was a lot of work to make this, I'm still really happy that I stuck with it and managed to get it done and I feel like I even got to learn a little bit about animating stuff! I'm hoping I can attempt to make some more animated loops like this in the future if I can manage it.

And lastly, I want to give thanks to my pal, LewdsSonk who helped out with giving me feedback on the animation plus lending their help with the special effects in it such as the smoke coming from the incense sticks as well as showing me a way to add some bloom to the scene. I'll shout out some links on where you can find their work too if you're curious to check them out.
