Yomei Seraii, close cousin of Kio.

Yomei is the brilliant and charismatic mind slated to become the head subspace engineer of the Silent Bell clan. Currently works as part time PR and outreach manager for the Shrine. She’s also a party animal.

How does she have time for it all??

I thought a ringworld-maintenance kitsune clan was a pretty novel idea when I made these guys! They’re some of the stewards of the world structure and are supposed to ensure that it stays in good repair (at the least doesn’t get too many structural or dimensional rifts in it)

The world is very old, and a lot of the engineering behind it has been forgotten. They do their best to remember it, at least enough to continue to carry out the ancient duty, even if that means most of it has faded into mysticism and magic!

The Silent Bell shrine is host to the prediction engine used to identify incoming rift zones! Locals will sometimes come to ask for divinations from the kitsune, which they can provide for a fee. It’s not easy running and maintaining the ancient computer after all.

The locals are wary of the kitsune living in the forest to the north. They have heard that they can be very dangerous, have strange magics, and like to play tricks or make soulbound contracts with the unfamiliar. Those fooled by a kitsune’s human disguise and uncanny beauty will almost certainly get pranked in some way. At least Yomei won’t eat them.

(Are people actually interested in OCs’ “story/lore”? If so, I can post more of these miscellaneous characters in the future, along with a little description! Most of my ‘characters’ are just NPCs from an RPG I used to run, or my own player characters I used in RPGs.)
