What the heck are those things Keiki’s carrying?

I mean, I can guess their effects from the sequels, but I don’t really get… how?

Coming back to this two months later to answer at least part of my own question.

Though it's a rather blocky font, the tube's visible characters are E PO ?? in Katakana. Katakana are foreign/loan words, so i believe this is Epoxy/エポキシ

Still no idea what the other thing is.
