Reading your prompts reminded me of one of my favourite parts of the Rhizome-9 dynamic, which is Kyle getting to experience a piece of belated childhood and family life once Akane arrives at the facility. Despite everything that’s happened, Akane seems like a deeply caring person at her core, and I’d like to think that Aoi going out of his way to raise her to the best of his ability left its mark on her.

I think it’d be sweet if that piece of her old life got to stay with her and inspire her to pass the tradition on to Kyle, who most likely never got to celebrate any holidays at all before she arrived.
