  • Secret semi-realism

I was curious as to what a fraid would look like with these bony eye-plates they have exposed on the surface rather than under the skin, I would like to experiment more with this semi-realism sorta style. I almost wish I'd done my previous comic in a style like this, but it would've been much more time-consuming haha.

Also I know I said 'fraid', but I ended up wanting to draw Secret, who isn't technically biologically a fraid... mimic of sorts, anyway, it works even if the bone here isn't real biological bone and just an illusionary sort of recreation.

I think the eye-plates make it look more visually interesting and a little more believable as an organism than the smooth blank face... maybe? It's probably something I'll only draw in certain instances where I'm exercising this sort of style rather than my cutesy cartoony stuff.

sorry for the long sort of nerdy rambling... feeling very inspired as of late.
