It feels refreshening to see a Futo who doesn't look somewhere between 5 to 10 years old.

I know, little Futo is really cute, but I think her design is more flattering on a young lady rather than a child.

Is it just me, or does the character design for Toyosatomimi no Miko seem as if it was inspired by Neku from The World Ends With You?

I agree with that. It's understandable Futo is drawn quite young, but I always thought she'd be a lady. At least late teens. A lady regardless of age, actually.
