I keep thinking about starting to watch this series for the deliciousness that is Inori and Tsugumi. But then I keep hearing about about how annoying the main character is and so I decide to just stick with the fanart.

Tsugumi was more than delishuz for me to justify dealing with the main character :I.

The main char is not THAT bad. There are more annoying characters out there.

The main character is what a dude'd be like if he understood what bullets can do to unprotected humans and lives in a country under dictatorship. That just shoves it out of the category of shônen, no reason to not watch it.

The main character isn't bad at all. He's actually pretty NORMAL. Shocking for an anime, I know.

There is only one reason you need for watching GC, and that's that soundtrack.
