That's exactly how you should use foresight.
If you prevent events that leads to someone's growth, you're stifling their maturation. Only interfere in events leading to things you really don't want to happen otherwise the ripple effect might change everything in the future.

I don't know, instead of a hands-off approach to parenting she seems "amused" by the events she foresaw hence she doesn't interfere.
