That's the part that I didn't quite get.
In some chapter in Umineko Lambda says that Bern was trapped on a game board which owner forgot its purpose or something like that. So, was Hanyuu the game master? I understand that it's just a doujin, but could it be that Hanyuu really did this memory erasing?

This makes a surprising amount of sense, I guess. The memory loss is kinda specific. Even if it's not Hanyuu, someone is acting as a game-master, erasing parts that would make the game too easy and uninteresting. Ties in with Umineko well, that Rika has been abandoned here. This comic would make the connection between Hanyuu and Augustus not a red herring anymore.

    Why...did it come to this?
"Why", you say? Because it's a way to pass time. Just like the way you called people "game pieces".
That's the kind of Rika that I love.
I have no interest in this Hinamizawa. I'm going to look for the next Hinamizawa.
Who was it who spoke these words? Rikaa?
Give it your best shot, Rika. It's a doomed world anyway.
For a hundred years, you've been truly interesting. You can't do anything on your own, yet you think yourself a proper witch. You use the world's pieces as much as you can, and when it doesn't work out, you sulk and give up. You really think of it all as just a game. I could learn a thing or two from you.
If Rika dies, only memories connected to the true culprit are extracted and discarded from the next world. Such is my job.
