Really? Because I saw people say she was based off the Akhal-teke, a Turkmen horse breed.
Suspected, not confirmed, in the 2.5 Special Program as YSG changes the subject from the character speculating her Thiren variety. I think a lot of her appearance doesn't conform with the Akhal-teke at all, especially the ears which are actually notably upright and forward-facing in the Akhal-teke breed. Prior to that, the most popular fan theory that I had seen was she was a Tenghuang (騰黃), a type of mythical beast hybrid as described above. Her Qingming Sword form appears to draw from the Bo (駮馬), a chimera horse with an ox tail, single horn, and white body. Certainly the white is obvious, and a ghostly 'horn' appears to grow when she transforms, so I feel this parallel is more concrete.
Whatever she is, it's definitely not a common variety as the only people known that resemble this are her and her brother, and presumably her parents who are now dead (whose aren't in Waifei Penisula at this point?).
