Suprised people asked them to replace Diana, at the end of the day she's maybe not as popular but on a mouth Rushmore of superheroes she's more important than a popular member of the X-Men.

Much older character, most popular female hero. I say this as someone who liked Wolverine more.

She's pretty interesting from what I've seen, she just doesn't get all that much push compared to Wolverine who got pushed so much in the 2000s he was on the Avengers and 5 different X-Men teams. If anything Logan's stories are more formulaic once you enter the 21st century past Old Man Logan compared to WW(to the point Logan is getting less stories than his semi replacement X-23)

At the end of the day she's a much more influential character is what I mean, she was a UN ambassador once(somehow). If we were going full popularity then Iron Man beats Wolverine in terms of overall popularity since 2008, down to comic sales and movie appearances.
