[Planned Perfection] Riko Kashimoto
The optimal way to guide beginner racers is to manage all aspects of their racing career.
"Why did you decide on stretching when it wasn't in the plan?"
"I was trying to calm my temper. I am sorry that I took some liberties."
Temporary emotional lapses are to be expected. There is no need for concern. More important matters are at hand.
"Excuse me, Trainer Kashimoto! A little light stretching shouldn't affect the plan too much, right?"
"Wrong. It can lead to many problems. You shouldn't be doing anything 'lightly' in the first place.
Training, stretching, diet, sleep... All of these must be taken seriously."
I know the toll a racing life can take. How easily the bridge to one's dreams can crumble. The frigid cold of a lightless path.
"Now then... the runner's tunnel is a bit chilly today. Do another round of warm-ups. That should help."
I will keep up my management. It is my responsibility.
