Also a heads up for those who will be doing the wikis: According to Japanese (and Italian) Wikipedia, she's the nameship, which is what the game follows, but English Wikipedia (as well as others) says her sister is the nameship.
So Norwegian ships huh, at this point we'll be getting Polish, Finnish, or Spanish ships first before the Germans. Tanaka and Fumikane really give us that divorced parents vibe.
I'm not complaining though it is always welcome for smaller navies during WW2 are getting recognized.
Which is not reflected by their in-game stats, since they have comparable firepower to the rest of the kaiboukan.
Firepower is not purely determined by the size of the guns. Norge Kai has a max firepower of 39, which for 2 single ~8" guns is pretty good considering 6 8" guns on Furutaka Kai Ni gets her only 77 firepower. 77 is a fairly average firepower stat for a heavy cruiser. For context, the highest firepower kaiboukan is Inagi Kai Ni with 43. Eidsvold Kai gets 40. Norge Kai and Sado Kai are tied for 3rd with 39.
Of course these stats will also be affected in game by the guns they come with. The 21cm単装主砲 has +6 firepower. The most basic IJN twin 203 (20.3cm連装砲) has +8. So far we don't know of any fit bonus they might have with their 21cm guns. Inagi's fit bonuses can provide her with substantial extra firepower even though her preferred guns only give +1.
^and Kamikaze kai (4x1 120mm) has 41FP. Her stats are totally wrong (look at the armor, lol) and devs were drunk (or worse) when they made her (she should have been in a new ship type and not put together with DE)
