I chose a chimney swift both because I think they're very cute and also as a bit of a reference to the family name "apodidae" meaning "footless"... LOL
another little detail is three of the toe beans being coloured differently, corresponding to three toes I'm missing on my left side

I'm realising I've put entirely too much thought into this design...
but it is fun
