Interestingly enough that witch's striker seem to be based on the Yak-41M, which didn't go into production but did conduct test flights from a Kiev class helicopter carrier in September 1991.
The name of the carrier is probably "Novorossiysk." Which is a bit odd since the Yak-141 was tested aboard a different Kiev class carrier, the Admiral Gorshkov (formerly known as the Baku -it's name was changed in 1991 because of the breakup of the USSR).
Wikipedia claims that the Novorossiyk suffered a serious engine room fire, but I question how accurate that information is.
