Quick question, would anyone recommend the game? I've heard it's quite good from reviews, and I did enjoy the demo, but I've been avoiding watching playthroughs to avoid spoilers so I don't fully know how good the full release is.
(Also I've only got about 50 cad to spend on steam games, so I'm trying not to spend too much.)

If you're a fan of the Telltale adventure games (Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us), this is a definite buy. The main gameplay system of figuring out which hero exactly to send where is a little tricky to get a handle on, but the episodes aren't that long, you can easily just replay them to get a better outcome (Keep that in mind, there's only two episodes out right now so it's a breezy playthrough at the moment). The characters are fun riffs on familiar superhero tropes, the core premise has a lot of potential, and the writing is pretty sharp. It's worth checking out.

I'm new to Telltale games in general and this is my impression:
The game can be split into 2 parts:
    - Interactive movie, where you watch cutscenes and there are (optional) QTEs and pick out dialogue/action options that may affect the story later on.
    - A sort of minigame that revolves around managing the superheroes: send them on the appropriate missions based on their stats, hack into stuff to assist them, raise their stats to improve their performance. Personally I find it boring, but my friend likes it: there are many voicelines to explore. For every task you can choose different hero combinations which get you a variety of dialogues and results. For example, sending the fire guy to put out a flame results in the flame growing even bigger.

Overall I think there's not much "game" to play here and the movie itself is rather short, so if you don't have the money to spare, just watching the cutscenes on Youtube is a legit option.

I bought the game earlier today and I very much enjoy both the gameplay and story. Only problem is that I forgot the sale ended today, so I had to buy it at full price, which hurts my soul.
I was also not expecting how episode 4 would've begun, and that could've gone very disastrously if I didn't alt tab fast enough.
EDIT: My PC completely bricked while I was playing, and I just lost ALL my progress and have to restart from episode one. I hate my life sometimes.
