I don't know which character is on the cover of Patchy's book. Pixiv tags didn't really clear things up.

Looks like Madoka. The dress has the same design.

lol and i wandered in from the mahou shoujo madoka magica section wandering why these two were there

For added fun, Patchy does technically fit the bill for Witch in Madoka terms here (minus the whole misery business and Grief Seed) --

1) She's a Witch (step the obvious)
2) She has Familiars (Koa, Koa, everywhere . . . )
3) She has the Boundary -- her Voile.

And 4) she has a(n Ordinary) Magical Girl that barges into said Boundary often, blasting her to Kingdom Come in the traditional Gensokyo fashion.

So . . . food for thought, mayhaps mayhaps?
