I've always wondered why the OMA has pool #1053 while Team_9 has an actual tag. Shouldn't the two be consistent seeing as they're basically the same thing (as in they're fan-made groups of Touhou characters)?

I think it's because Team 9 has a core set of characters (that is, Cirno, Rumia, Wriggle, and Mystia), and despite the addition of characters like Daiyousei those four won't change.
The Old Maids, as it were, really coalesced as a 'group' once Kanako came into the picture, and even then some artists can't agree who's really an old maid and who's just a 17-year old masquerading as an old maid...
i just noticed... Old Maid Alliance = OMA OMA in dutch is Granny or Grandmother... ... i'm gonna get shot ain't i... But don't Misunderstand me! Kanako,Yukari,Byakuren,Eirin,Yuyuko are in my top 5!
