Firing Stance
- True to her identity as an athlete, Sumire's firing stance is more reminiscent of a competitive sport shooter rather than a soldier. While not the most textbook stance, her standing position has her upper body upright and gun held close to her center of gravity, where cover and recoil control is critical. Although her specific stance is primarily used in rifle competitions rather than shotguns, Sumire appears to be the most comfortable in this stance.
Although she's equipped with a speedloader frame, a supporting piece of equipment used in shooting competitions where the timer does not pause for reloads, she does not use the requisite speedloader at all.
Firearm
Bernelli Armi M1014 (Tactical 18.5" Civilian)
- What was originally a sleek, semi-auto shotgun has been made rugged due to the addition of a grip, rails, and a frame. As the name implies (Modern Millennium Dumbell), it seems to be a sturdy build able to withstand rough handling.
- The tube magazine has a limiter plug at the end, a feature commonly seen in civilian firearms to reduce the number of shells that can be loaded at once. Considering how focused she is in overcoming herself rather than fighting others, the limited capacity appears to be of little concern.
- Although there is a speedloading assist frame attached, she does not make use of any speedloaders.
