Formerly Merry, who for certain reasons became a youkai.
She often comes to Renko’s house to relax.
She basically doesn’t hide her smiles in front of Renko,
But it seems it’s hard for her to go back to how things used to be. (She can’t shake off habits from over a thousand years.)
This year, I'll go back to my hometown, show some filial piety to my parents...
I'll distance myself from those weirdos for a while and get a proper refresh.

This is such a short manga that an afterword probably isn’t necessary, but since there's some extra space...
I tried to give shape to one of my own fantasies about the relationship between Yukari and Renko, based on the theory that Yukari = Merry. (I’m not used to drawing manga, though.)
It was difficult to blend Yukari-like and Merry-like traits together in a way that expresses both well, and I still have a long way to go, so I want to keep improving.
