There are separate tags for minigirl and miniboy, so to be consistent we would need to consolidate them too if we go ahead with this alias (I guess as mini_person?)

Let's not go down the route of creating X_person tags just for the sake of gender-neutrality as a goal in and of itself. I prefer clarity and ease of use for tags.
Which is the more common case: Are people more likely to want to see both genders for people of abnormal size or only one gender? Also, is it easier to combine the two tags to get what you want, or is it easier to filter from a single tag?
Personally, I think the latter consideration matters most. It think it would be quite hard to filter out the wrong gender from a search on a consolidated tag. If you want the rarer of each pair (the boys), then you're going to have to wade through a LOT of irrelevant images.

Frankly, I agree more with this. Just need to get some consistency with whatever is decided on here. In this case, it would mean making giant more specifically giant males (excluding giant females, creatures, etc.)
When I find the time, I will try do some cleanup on the giant tag. Only point of confusion at the moment is with giant non-humanoids. Should oversized_animal (which implicates animal) only be used for real-life animals and not mythical ones (would an oversized creature like Kyubey in post #1409706 count or would it need a separate tag?) There is a giant_monster tag already which is not very populated at the moment.
Continuing from some of the discussion in topic #745:
For those who want to keep giant as a more general tag, an alternative would be to start giant_boy and alias giantess to giant_girl. That would make it more consistent with the "mini" tags at least.
