Copyright and artist request clean-up help

I decided to dig around these two tags for a change and I want to ask for some helpful resources. I know about Saucenao, but it mostly provides source from Danbooru itself. So, where do I search if there is no sauce other than Danbooru? (Iqdb is pretty useless since on other boards the images are practically never tagged)

Saucenao provides source for Pixiv and Seiga as well as Danbooru. (And some other less useful sources too.)

Other than that, Google's reverse image search is occasionally helpful for finding source, although I wouldn't count on it.

There's also Ascii2D, which can provide information from Japanese websites that the others can't (such as the artist's blog or 2channel), but you need to understand at least some Japanese to make full use of it.

I'm going through 2005-2006 posts now, and I got only one pixiv link in Saucenao. Most of the links other than Danbooru are already dead. It's probably more helpful with newer images. Thanks anyway though.

I'm not surprised, taking into account that Pixiv was created in 2007.

Ahahahaha, that was pretty retarded. Guess I'll have more luck in the next year.
