I did, but it turned out to be the exact same size as the deleted post, only difference is that it's just slightly darker than what I first posted. It's basically a duplicate of a post that shouldn't have been deleted to begin with.

post #2718599 is clearly worse quality that post #2725036. If you zoom in closely you will notice significant differences in smoothing and artifacts. Twitter tends to degrade quality like that. Since we are an archival site we prefer the one with better quality.

Sure it should have been approved a few days ago but how does it help to approve it now? Twitter duplicates are usually only kept if they were approved before the better one is up. It's just a grace amnesty, not something essential. I've uploaded Twitter posts before the Pixiv one and mine got deleted. It's just tough luck I guess. I'll approve it but understand it doesn't have to be

Yeah, I see the quality differences now, and I'll keep in mind using twitter from now on. But I saw no real indication from the deletion notice it was of genuinely lower quality than the pixiv version, hence my confusion. It seemed completely arbitrary.

... except it’s not really a revision. Both images are identical except for JPEG artifacts.

A revision that adds more JPEG artifacts!

... ehh, I don't know why some artists do that, but just for grace's sake I approved it anyway. Not that it means anything, the parenting should probably go the other way I suppose.
