Deletion appeal thread

I think that's exactly why it went deleted. It offered nothing new to me when I looked at it in the queue.

EDIT: For the record, a duplicate doesn't have to be the exact same as its parent post. It just has to be non-preferable, whether by way of watermarks, artifacting, poor resolution, etc.

Dunno why this version of the pic was deleted when it's not a duplicate; the bottom-right corner has a watermark.

I know wrong topic, but you should have changed the source, too. Because right now it's more or less a pain to track down the image :3.
ABut yeah, it was posted earlier than the superior version.

Oh, that. Yeah, that's unfortunate. Might need to add a disclaimer to howto:Tumblr, although Tumblr uploads can usually be trusted unless the artist makes it a habit to upload resolutions that are much higher than what the site can host.

Could you clarify?

Also this post, the parent is a patreon reward reposted from Sankaku if I'm not mistaken. Seems different than say a user posts inferior twitter while superior pixiv is already up. I think it gets a pass maybe? If this is too broad a discussion we can branch to a new thread.

I can write a longer answer if needed, but tl;dr Tumblr doesn't resample images that go under their maximum resolutions (which I can't recall right now). If an artist usually uploads absurdres work to pixiv for example, and the Tumblr post is still in the queue as the pixiv upload skips the queue, then there's no reason to approve it unless you want to give the uploader grace.

Those all have the screencap tag on them (which has a warning associated with it). Are these not screencaps? Otherwise, unless they did two shots in the show, I don't see how they wouldn't be nude filters.

Yep, they are screencaps. But the ones which were approved come from the endings of the first half of the serie, the ones unapproved from the second half.
