I appealed post #10314936 with reason: the artist pervious work was approved.
It was not approved with a message:
"Every image is judged on its own merits, not the artists."
It's true but also according to wiki:
"uploaders can gauge a rough idea of what the standards are by looking at preexisting approved posts"
Preexisting approved posts can be used standards. This image is better than preexisting approved post or at least comparable yet it doesn't meet the standards?

Dear everyone. I am sorry for reposting a deleted post, especially one that failed the appeal. I don't believe any of this excuse my action, and I promise I will not do such act again. However... post #9099541 was accepted, but post #9348990 was not, and I still don't believe there's any problem with any of them. I am desperate of answers, even though I know and remember that no one cares about desperation, so consider this a honest feedback. The parasite (post #10320142, downsized version of post #9348990) I can leave to wither and be forgotten, but the post #9348990 however deserves approval. It has the same quality (and the same original image size), the same artist (sephtis), the same premise (Re:Zero females with halterneck backless bodysuit), and nothing offensive, yet all approves ignored post #9348990 after having previously approved post #9099541. I feel like everyone have even ignored post #9348990 and even my appeal, leaving me with no choice but to break some noticable rules for the first time in my time at Danbooru. I don't want to be thin-skinned, but post #9348990 deserves a third chance. In fact, I still don't believe that it should be ignored and automatically deleted at all. So please fix this and help me bring post #9348990 back to active where it should be, not in deleted bins that I found it in.

May I ask why this post (post #10324523) get deleted?
It seems not that bad since there're 12 vote-up (100%) and 11 faves before it gets deleted.

Do keep in mind that upvotes and favorite count are a metric of popularity rather than quality, and don't make a post more or less likely to be approved.

The multiple characters depicted in this artwork are presented with rich detail, arranged in a visually appealing manner that also aligns well with the central theme of the story.
Other illustrations from the same series were uploaded by two different Contributors, and they share the same image quality, art style, and the same or complementary themes.
Therefore, please reconsider this artwork, thank you!

Do not ping approvers here, there is a high chance they will just ignore or report you.

Images that are similar to a previous one (aka a child image) are typically allowed just fine.

Images that are similar to a previous one (aka a child image) are typically allowed just fine.
Posts that are the same/inferior to an already uploaded post are considered duplicates and are generally not approved. post #10326428 is of lower resolution than the existing parent post #8216348 so it falls into the duplicate category. In general, approved child posts were uploaded prior to a higher quality version.
