Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Don't give poor advice. Tagging isn't important for approvals, even if some approvers prefer to approve good tagged uploads. Also, sketches are fine, it simply depends on how good the image is. Rough lines and color outside of it is not really a problem. Anyway: @barney123 you should still tag your uploads better. Check howto:tag for more information about better tagging.

thank you for the advice. if i fix the tags on deleted posts, can i request for it to be approved again somehow?

You can appeal posts by going to a deleted post (it can be anyone's, not just yours) and clicking "Appeal" under Options on the left-hand side of the page. This will put the post back in the mod queue for three more days.

Each appeal you make will fill three of your upload slots and you can only appeal each post once, so use them wisely.

Hello. My images were deleted with this comment:
"AI-generated stuff are against site rules"

Your rules state this:
"This tag applies to fully AI-generated images, that is, images that underwent no edits or extremely minor retouchings. For edited images, see AI-assisted.
Note that AI-assisted posts that are up to Danbooru's standards are exempt from the ban on AI-generated art."

As an example, here are the original images I generated for Acheron:
https://imgsli.com/MjYzMzU2
You can notice that the result image I posted is very different.
I changed a lot of details and even completely replaced some of them (red arm and flower petals, for example).

Can this count as AI-assisted by your standarts? Or should I just give up on Danbooru?

@Diffusyaga could you also post the original generation for post #7675037?

why are these 2 not getting approved? they have a high score and a solid number of tags. is it too furry? although i see worse things... or is it maybe from the rape tag?

You appealed the first post only 13 hours before you asked this and only 5 approvers looked at it. There's still over two days left before it gets auto-deleted. Be patient. And you didn't even appeal the second post.

As Nacha explained earlier, proper tagging only has a small influence on whether a post gets approved, and that's only because a small number of approvers think it's important for some reason. Ideally, the expectation of proper tagging would be completely separate from considering whether a post belongs on Danbooru. You should still tag your uploads properly, but you shouldn't expect your posts to be approved just because your tagging was thorough.

Your appeal reason should be about why you think the post is Danbooru-worthy. That is, you should address the art quality itself or acknowledge previous feedback. Adding more tags is not a good reason unless they are artist tags. Approvers also don't take score into consideration, so that shouldn't be used as a reason either.

It is possible the rape tag will cause it to be filtered by some approvers' blacklists. There's not really anything you can do about that. But it's still only been less than a day, so there's still plenty of time for other approvers to look at it.

What's the average number of approvers voting per post? 13 not liking a solid animation is weird. The art quality is great, it's definitely not by an amateur. I only think it's because of the rape tag as per the Tag Guide page not being for everyone and I just got a bad hand of approvers that looked at it first.

In any case, thank you for replying with a full answer.

I know you guys are tired of people venting, but I hope everyone understands how frustrating it can be to have (at least what I would consider) a decent quality upload deleted because nobody cared but a practical shitpost gets posted by an uploader directly, flagged for quality, and re-approved anyway.

That's not directed at anyone in this thread and I'm not requesting anything (just an example), just a reminder to be patient with the member-level users because those kinds of posts ^ are probably why they're here. I can't even appeal that again because it's already been deemed quality Danbooru material in the last three days.

Hello, any feedback on why these post wasn't approved? Please consider giving them another chance. Please keep in mind that the second post is the only one that was not approved by this artist.

Stylistically, this is not what most people want to see on here. It's also not a very interesting composition, and the degree of realism gives it a sort of uncanny valley effect.

If you look at the other posts by this artist, you'll notice that none of them were approved. They were uploaded directly by a contributor, bypassing the approval queue. Quality-wise, it's not terrible but the lack of varied line width and flat lighting make it look somewhat amateurish. I think this one has a decent shot at being approved if you appeal it.
