4 separate people getting no reply is pretty out of hand, though. I delayed posting my example specifically because I was waiting for the other posters to get feedback. Constructive criticism isn't compulsory here, sure. But it is the purpose for which this thread was created.
But you're right. There's no point in trying to make sense of why some posts get approved and others don't. They just have to be seen by the right people.

And Danbooru has over 3,5 million images here.
1500 images in total sound like a lot but in relation it's really not that much.
Even if you count all the Superhero posts you will barely scratch 50.000, even 25.000 sounds like a stretch, images.

I get that, but the posts that ARE from those tags don't really have anything exceptional about them. They're not "Man, this image is so good, we have to include it even though it's western". They're just... normal posts. Which can trip up newbies like me.
I think Elfaleon is right about the watermark being the main issue with that post. But I do agree with your point.

Nope, the post certainly was reviewed. Detailed rejection reasons and reviewer counts get purged after a while to avoid cluttering the database, so none of the older posts have that information.
