create alias black_(pokemon) -> touya_(pokemon)
create alias white_(pokemon) -> touko_(pokemon)
Reasons:
- Touya and Touko are game characters. Black and White are the same characters in the manga Pokémon Special.
- If you look at the official game art by Sugimori Ken and the official manga pages by Yamamoto Satoshi, you can see some differences in personal style. (Images in Bulbapedia: Touko, game - White, manga) They would be identical otherwise; they are normally indistinguishable in fanart.
- Often, the way to say whether it's "game" or "manga" is to see whether they are surrounded by other game characters or manga characters. post #1004823 has Yellow (the blonde girl) from the manga, so it's safe to say the rightmost girl is from the manga, too.
- The right way to tag whether it's manga or games, when possible, is by using copyright tags: /pkspe and /pkgame. (Most often, when the right copyright of Black/Touya and White/Touko is visually impossible to know for sure for lack of context, we just use the game tag; most certainly because it's the "original" universe, so that should be context enough. When it's clearly the manga, we use the manga tag; and often, but not always, NOT the game tag. I know this from observation and experience; feel free to correct me if I missed something.)
- Virtually all Pokémon game characters have appeared in the anime and in the manga Pokémon Special (and in many other different official mangas for which we have only a few posts) Using one tag for multiple versions of a PKMN character together is commonplace here, even when their appearance varies: Red has at least three hairstyles and sets of clothes, depending on which universe he is, but red_(pokemon) is the tag for them all; the same happens with Natsume, taggable natsume_(pokemon).
