Journey of a pic

So i was hoping some one could describe the journey an upload takes
I mean if i upload what happens befor the pic goes on the site?
or is it instant?

Your pictures will be visible instantly to priviledged and staff members, but with a blue border around them, which means that they are still in a moderation queue waiting for a moderator to approve them. If you are a priviledged member, your uploaded picture will also display instantly but without the need for final approval.

cool so if im not priviled i cant see my post until its approved?

You can see your pictures if you are not privileged, but only the "safe" ones.

I'm tempted to write a parody of the old School House Rock song, "I'm Just a Bill" based on this process, but I lack the tenacity at this moment.
