Tag Alias: anjou_naruko -> anaru

Aliasing anjou_naruko -> anaru.

Reason: Commonly used nickname.

You want it the other way around.

And I don't think this alias is necessary anyway.

Not sure on Anaru -> Anjou_Naruko, but I have kind of felt that a Menma -> Honma_Meiko alias would be appropriate. Feels so easy to forget her full name given how often they use her nickname in the show.

I wouldn't be against either alias (provided the OP's is reversed). We do have a precedent with Osaka → Kasuga Ayumu, which is another case where the given name is almost never used.

The only problem is that Osaka can also refer to the city. but otherwise, if the nickname is specific to that character and not ambiguous, I can see no harm in creating the alias.

I'd prefer avoiding aliasing the nicknames here, is only because "anaru" and "menma" are such short, ambiguous strings of japanese syllables.

If someone can't remember the full name they should either look it up (10 seconds on wiki or ANN or something) or just search the anohana tag and find them. I do that kind of thing all the time.

Someone should probably go through and add the nicknames to all the anohana characters' wikis then you wouldn't have to resort to an offsite search. Something like this.
