New type of account

After looking through some of the posts on the forum it seems to me that there are to main reasons for privileged accounts being more important and harder to get then normal accounts and there are

So i'd like to ask, wouldn't someone be able to create a new type of account that could let you see all the images (including loli) but just not let you upload without having your images approved?
and just have the account avaliable upon request?

Because i for one use this site a lot as it's the best images site i know, the problem with that is all the images i find elsewhere are already on this site, so it's near impossible for me to find new images to post here.

So at the risk of being rune, alienating everyone on the site and preventing myself from ever getting a privileged account i'd like to ask again,

Could you make it possible for people to just see the images but still restrict their uploading, beacuse some people are just not skilled or fast enough to find new material and post before someone else does.

If you upload something that's already here you will know because the page will say it.
Plus, seeing loli images is a "benefit" for those who have privileged accounts.

So, try to upload something first (isn't THAT hard) and see what happens.

You can always find new stuff to post if you don't go to the same sites all the time. I uploaded 6 pics today and none of them already existed.

I thought they won't be regularly giving out invites anymore, so you'll probably have to upload like hundreds of pics before someone invites you. Or you can just find someone you already know to invite you.

The loli / advertiser issue is due to the fact that advertisers don't want their ads to be seen on pages alongside loli. If you had a new account type that allowed loli, you would also have to remove the ads.

If there was an unrestricted account one could sign up for that had no ads versus the default that had ads, everyone would choose the former, and no one would view ads. If no one viewed the ads, the site would have no revenue which would force Albert to either pay out of pocket or close the site down to the public again. I don't see that such an account would be a good idea at all.

If you really need to see loli, just do a good job at contributing to the site and you will eventually be promoted. If not, there are plenty of other sites for loli, and you still have access to more than 90% of the site.

What if in order to login you had no navigate through ten pages of ad's clicking on each one, that way loli wouldn't be on the same page and you'd have to click on the ads and raise money for the site?

That is considered click fraud. And ads wouldn't give as many revenue as they should

I Suppose i'll just have to give up then.
Oh well.

You could go to gelbooru, they have most of danbooru's content, just not as organized.
