I also know people who don't even bother checking the profile of an artist. And before you say anything, I do know the kanji for male and female, as well as very few of them (emphasis on very few) even tho it is handy to know some copyrights or characters but it would not help me to see what the artist is from (which was why I was quite surprised when I found out that Colonel Aki is thai). It's also the katakana part that screws me over.

They didn't fail at basic reading, they just went along with the gender in the OP quote (a perfectly natural assumption) and didn't double-check the Pixiv profile with Google Translate or Pixiv Translation Plus (knowing Japanese isn't necessary to sign up for and use pixiv). Big deal. The issue of whether the artist actually wants the posts removed is the important topic here.

Indeed, and judging by what she said to Mr GT it doesn't seem like we need to remove her stuff.

Has anyone contacted Bernana and pointed him/her/it to this thread? Seeing how we're at an impasse due to lack of evidence, he/she/it will have to make his/her/its case in this thread.
