I also know people who don't even bother checking the profile of an artist. And before you say anything, I do know the kanji for male and female, as well as very few of them (emphasis on very few) even tho it is handy to know some copyrights or characters but it would not help me to see what the artist is from (which was why I was quite surprised when I found out that Colonel Aki is thai). It's also the katakana part that screws me over.
