Failbooru with uploads

Failbooru on uploads again. Tag edits and forum threads are also going up and down. Business as usual.

Same here. It's quite troublesome for me to find new works I subscribed to for translations. Tried logging off/in, but that didn't seem to work.

EDIT: And it actually shows a link for recently deleted subscriptions when it shouldn't...

Tag subscription updates are handled by a job task. Albert probably just forgot to restart the job task daemon.

The failboorus were back for me on uploading, tag editing and viewing new forum posts for a few hours tonight. Started working again a couple of minutes ago.

Let's see if temporarily turning off cookies makes this work. At least I can view the forums.

I've been seeing the failboorus this morning, and again tonight (including now). It was working fine between times though.

EDIT: Yes, turning off cookies to get into an updated page, and then turning them on again to post does work.

I've upped the memory on the database server but otherwise I'm starting to run out of ideas. I may need to upgrade to PostgreSQL 9.0 to see if that solves the issue any.

here in the morning i have no problems. couldn't it just be the server load?

So you upped the memory of the database, updated the tag history script, did two server restarts one of which was a full vacuum restart but the problem still persist. You having plans on upgrading to PostgreSQL 9.0 but if that doesn't solves the problems then will you do? Could the problem be caused by a virus within the server you're not aware of?

Upload is failing for me right now, on a 243 KB file.

Checking emails too, I couldn't do it for about 4 hours earlier.

But opening forum threads and viewing images are both very very fast. Alias/implication job tasks seem to be okay too. Using a tag script is slow, editing a forum post doesn't work, etc... it's a mix of failbooru and lightning fast right now.

The lockups appear random and are seemingly unconnected to which part of the site you're accessing.

I will be playing around with the database settings a lot. I will be updating my Twitter @teruyo with updates in case you can't view the forum.

If the database stores last login time maybe try purging member-level users that haven't logged in for 3 years and have no recorded activity as all the functions seem to be linked to user actions?

again: at least with tagging no problems here at about 11:00 UTC+2 (or 5 am EST).

btw: what's danbooru time?

Subscriptions have stopped updating again.

problems with updating tags just started now: 15:47 UTC+2 (or 9:47 am EST).

Not sure if this relates to the continuing failbooru problem or not but has anyone having problem viewing the first post page? All I can see is nothing and not all the post are tagged with loli on them.

Having that same problem. Second page looks fine, and so goes for the first page of any tag search.

Not sure if this is the same problem, but I had this now with page 11. Upon further investigation, it's probably caused by all posts from post #775074 to post #775216 having disappeared. Not sure if that was intentional, a mod deleting spam maybe, or if it's a more significant problem.
