It's probably because of the state the server's been in the last few months, things breaking and stuff.

There were quite a few instances were large implications and mass edits returned errors.

Yeah, this. Implications seem a little less prone than aliases, especially aliases getting deleted and moved around. But it could still break since the one is over 800 posts.

Seems like this was okay though.
