Umm, no? What other kinds of cards do we have that'd warrant an umbrella tag? Credit cards? And besides, wikilink the tags you propose for aliasing. Otherwise it takes way too long to look them up.

Edit: Okay, so the wiki is for playing cards. That makes more sense, and demonstrates why you absolutely need to wikilink any tags you wish to discuss.

Well there are things like tarot and pactio cards that would get lumped in cards that aren't playing cards.

I guess that'd be an argument in favor of the implication.

Either way since both tags are in current use, either an implication or an alias should be done.
