Gladiator sandals vs. Cross-laced sandals

So in this thread:

Needs an explanation of how this differs from gladiator sandals if they're not the same thing.

I had the exact same thought.

So my first mental proposition to that was to have gladiator sandals to imply cross-laced sandals, but then I had doubts. Personally, I think still "laced" implies use of a "string", if not a "strap", but also I don't doubt that gladiator sandals has plenty of false positives for cross-laced sandals in that case too. Conversely, I don't think everyone would necessarily 100% agree either. So I got to thinking:

I'm a bigger fan of the first option, but I think with the third, it gives gladiator sandals tag flexibility, in that you could apply a "i-know-it-when-i-see-it" level of logic to it. Then cross-laced sandals and a cross-strap sandals tag together could catch everything else outside of gladiator sandals. At the very least, we probably oughta clarify the tags (gladiator sandals and cross-laced sandals) in both wikis, I'd say.
