Strange Glitch

Something's wrong. I can't see any posts except here on the forum. I can't see any pictures, even in my favorites page. Anyone else having this problem? Or was I penalized for something?

What OS, what browser, what plugins, etc etc.

There's no negative record or other such notation on your account, so I can confirm you're not being intentionally denied access. Has to be a computer problem.

Apparently it was. I can see everything again now. Thanks for the assurance, though. This can be deleted now.

Why delete it? Just let it be.

People who insist their threads get deleted/closed once resolved completely miss the point of a forum.

For the record, this sounds like the same problem as the one reported in forum #30998 and forum #28986.

Symptoms:

• Thumbnails don't appear, as if everything is blacklisted.
• Javascript based functions (such as the thread reply button mentioned by the OP) stop working.

Cause:

• Evidently the site sometimes sends a truncated Javascript file, which may be cached by your browser. This corrupt file can cause various Javascript related site features to fail. I'm not sure why the site does this, but I think it's an Nginx thing.

Solution:

• Do a hard refresh (shift + F5) or clear your browser cache.
