[Translation Request] A Single Line, Japanese->English

パスは「太宰治の文学作品『走れ○○○』の冒頭、句読点無しの8文字」です。

Context: it's the line describing the password to a file for a CG set, which I want to upload on here... as soon as I can open the zip. :/

From what I can tell, the password is going to be something related to the "Run, Melos!" book written by Osamu Dazai.

If the translators here can't do it, could I be pointed at a place that could do it? Thanks.

Well, it says the password is the first eight characters from the beginning of the book (excluding punctuation marks).

My half-assed translation after running it through multiple online translators...

Romaji: Pass wa "Dazai Osamu no bungaku sakuhin 'Hashire ○○○' no boutou, kutouten nashi no 8 moji" desu.

English: Pass is "the literary work of Dazai Osamu 'Running ○○○' it is eight characters at the beginning, without punctuation marks".

The first 8 characters in the short story are 'メロスは激怒した' (merosu ha gekido shita, literally 'Melos became full of rage'). It's fairly easy to find copies of famous books through google and wikipedia these days. Even more so with google's attempts at creating search-able electronic texts.

Both Run, Melos! and No Longer Human were recently adapted into anime form in the Aoi Bungaku series.
