Textless parenting

Suppose an artist uploads two versions of a post, one with dialogue, and one that's textless. What is the general consensus for who to parent?

"More complete" generally gets put as parent, so the textless version becomes a child. I can imagine there's weird situations where the opposite should be preferred, but in the general case this applies.

Fantastic, thanks for the clarification! I'll fix this and any of the posts I made my old assumption for. If necessary, would it be helpful to update the wiki to indicate this is the case? I made this mistake partially because there was no clear-cut documentation.

This is something that was brought up a bit earlier as well and nnt thought it was already in the wiki. There's probably countless cases of covers not being the parent post and textless version being undertagged, doubly so when the textless is released before the cover and it not being considered the cleanest image due to lack of explicit mention in the wiki. It can and should be added though I'm not sure where specifically it should fall under.
