Quick question regarding identifying AI art

So, I've finally been duped and uploaded my first AI image. I should've known something was up, just from the difference in her body type, but what's done is done.

I'm curious, is danbooru cooking up something to identify Artificial arts and warn an uploader or are you all thinking of warning us by adding a label to the name of an AI "artist"? Like, once it's realize that an "artist" is actually just using AI, that person gets added to a separate category and a system can warn us when we check with the reverse image search or something of that nature. I'm just floating ideas to see what's already out there.

The idea has been floated around in topic #25985 but it seems pretty difficult to do in a way that doesn't sabotage both artists and ourselves.

I see~ I was going to ask about putting something in the section where it says "My Uploads", something along the lines of "AI Check". But, I see it's complicated, all the same.

You seem to envision here something thats automatically checks your uploads if they might be AI, do I understand that correctly? :)
As far as I understand the current stand of technology, thats currently not possible to say with any certainty (if anyone has different, concrete info on this, feel free to correct me!). The main problem with this tools isn't that they can't detect potential AI use in picture, just that they don't provide any level of certainty, and aren't really all that accurate (I'm not sure how scientific those tests were, but a common method that was apparently used was artists putting in their own, handdrawn pictures and checking if the tools marked them as AI generated/AI assissted, side by side with pictures that were freshly AI generated; the tools seem not to perform great, as far as I read). So in essence, they can say that a picture might be AI generated, but they can't really determine if a picture surely is AI generated, and on top of that they are pretty bad at correctly identifying AI usage in general.
Again, if anyone has more concrete knowledge on this field, feel free to correct me! I'm far from being an expert and only have cursory knowledge.

Yeah, how about put warning tag like "Ai check" to well known AI artist, like how tag "banned artist" appear when you try to post works from banned artist.

I would agree with this. The other topic #25985 suggests that the problem would be artists that do both AI and hand drawn art. I'd suggest that maybe having multiple tags would help. I think we can certainly categorize AI artists with 2 tags only:

• Artist that has at least 1 AI art and no confirmed non-AI art yet
• Artist that are known to have both
